Cetera Changes

Introducing a transition to Cetera Advisor Networks

As a valued client of ours, we are excited to share with you that our broker-dealer will be changing from Voya Financial Advisors (VFA) to Cetera Advisor Networks, LLC.  Cetera Financial Group—a group of independent retail firms that includes Cetera Advisor Networks (Cetera) – recently announced it is acquiring the financial planning channel of VFA, of which we are a part.  After reviewing the details of this upcoming transition, we feel it is a step forward for our clients and for our financial planning practice. We are confident that Cetera will serve your family’s financial goals well and will live up to our team’s professional standards. In addition, our office will continue to operate locally and do business as Sullivan Financial Group.

The best aspect of this new chapter for our firm is that it will not require much on your part. Most accounts will move over without any new paperwork. No investment holdings will be affected. This is all because Cetera offers many of the same product vendors that VFA uses, and Cetera also clears through Pershing, the same clearing firm that VFA uses.

Cetera is a large firm, but they have a small, family feel. In the coming weeks, you will receive a letter from Voya that will give you more details on the transition and any actions you may need to make.  We are excited to embark on this new chapter together.

We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing more details soon. Please contact our office if you have any questions or comments. Thank you for being a client and for allowing us to serve your financial needs.

Sincerely,

Peter Dan Sullivan, CFP®
